A. I hope so because what’s wonderful about this play is that it is a play about today. It’s a play about the conversation that people are having behind closed doors in the world today. One of the big things the Republicans learned from the 2012 election is that America is not a homogenized country. It is a country of Muslims, Jews, gays, blacks, Latinos, immigrants, whatever. This play shows that identity and is refreshing to see.

It’s a similar sort of thing that maybe “Death of a Salesman” did in the ’50s, where it’s like: This is America now. And I feel like this play does that in a way. This is America in 2012.

I'm still surprised to hear that America's diversity is a surprise to anyone.
