Boxing is one of the mass-niche interests that have been well served by the web. In a lot of ways, YouTube and blogging and social media have led directly to a mini renaissance of boxing writing of the highest quality. Unfortunately mass market sports journalism hasn't caught up with developments in the sweet science, which has always been the domain of penetrating observers who like a drink or six to get over the introversion.
