Consumers WANT to Follow Retailers on Pinterest
Adam Rifkin stashed this in Pinterest
A comScore study explains why consumers follow their favorite retailers:
51% seek information on deals and coupons.
43% seek product information.
36% seek to post/read comments about merchandise or services.
34% seek information about events.
Pinterest users follow an average of 9.3 retailers on the site, compared with 8.5 by Twitter users, and 6.9 by Facebook users.
What makes this even more extraordinary is that most Pinterest users have been on the site for less than a year.
