How Spreedly Raised $300K in 10 Days on AngelList
Adam Rifkin stashed this in @angellist
Stashed in: Hacker News!
tl;dr : They raised initial seed, built something, pivoted, built something else, convinced AngelList they had enough traction to warrant getting featured, spammed AngelList, and were approached by ONE investor (e-Merge in Europe) who liked the deal and wired $300k ten days later.
In other words, you'll never be as lucky as this if you try to repeat what they did.
So don't expect that this will work for you.
