... and being a keyboard mash, it's obvious that Dilbert was coding in perl...

I concur. You can't just stomp on a keyboard and expect JavaScript to come out.

Besides, as the Pew Pew manifesto boldly claims, JavaScript is not suitable for large web apps.

Ugh, that manifesto makes me want to stomp on a keyboard.
