And the question of how many other things can be constructed using industrial poly foam core.
This is cool but remember that kayaks were originally made out of flexible sea lion skin over very thin strips of wood -- much closer to the Oru than the rigid plastic shells we think of as kayaks today.
So the name "origami kayak" isn't just clever marketing.
It really IS a kayak, even more than what we think are kayaks.
