What do people in Silicon Valley plan to do once they hit 35 and are officially over the hill? - Quora
Eric Nakagawa stashed this in psychology
I've found that as I get closer to 35, my core friendships are forming around peers of similar ages within very similar backgrounds (married, kids, married to japanese women) whereas in general friendships are with smart people, generally interest-based, and age does not play a large factor (except wrt weekend activities!)
To wit: you try to hange out with good people, but you trend towards similarity. Then again, if I were single, my peer group would be much more weighted toward interest-based.
Age ain't nothing but a number.
Common interests are the key to deepening relationships.
