Huckberry | Best Made In Alaska
Jared Sperli stashed this in fun
Stashed in: Alaska
sounds like a good couple of months could be had
Sounds a little bit too wilderness-y:
The destination for the crew was Hubert’s Landing, a 1920s one room log cabin in the center of W.S.E. Park. Along the way, they camped under an abandoned rail line, explored the expansive basin of the Chitna, and chopped their own wood with their own axes (something to aspire to).
They also carried a couple rifles (bear repellant) and hiked the area. Going deep in the heart of Alaska is one of those experiences that reframes things—the sheer scale of the landscape and the wild, undeveloped swaths of land have a centering effect.
