I've never even heard of the knockout game.

NO WAY, really?  The hype over it has been (cyclically) conscious for the past few months or so (but it's petering out).  The media coverage/propagation of the phenomenon had been viral enough to actually "incite/cause" new incidents to occur internationally, proving an example where media fans the flames.  In this case it not only regenerated interest in the act as a "game," but also regenerated racial hate, fear, prejudice, and profiling.

Geez, this is awful. Why won't media stop encouraging it?
