I wonder what reading makes for the most creativity.
In his book, Johnson is more focused on the contrast and connection of ideas so anything read concurrently can be good (though two books on related subjects might bear more fruit.)
I see the benefit of this all the time. I'll be posting stuff on my blog tomorrow that juxtaposes related ideas from two or more books I recently read.
