Stashed in: Problem?
The job of a CEO isn’t to solve problems, it’s to find them. They need to pull back the lens and see problems and opportunities that the rest of the industry hasn’t yet considered. They need to understand the intricate details of ancillary markets, and the subtle relationships between them. They need to move into areas most people wouldn’t. They need to see 10 years into the future. Only then do they start thinking of solutions.

It is always about problems- not solutions! .. and that is the reason why soooo many start ups fail... they have a fabulous solution.. but no regard for the problem they are trying to solve ...
Working from your solution backwards means you will miss vital and often subtle elements of the real world problem... it also makes it harder to refine your product or service...
