You may have been impacted by a recent issue in Gmail that inadvertently caused some actions (e.g. delete, report spam) taken while viewing a message to be applied to a different message. The issue occurred between January 15 and January 22 and is now fixed.
We encourage you to check your Trash and Spam folders before February 14, 2014 for any items you did not intend to delete or mark as spam and move them back to your inbox. We apologize for any inconvenience.
How does a company with infinite resources mess up something so fundamental?
Is *that* what happened? I pay for the premium google apps for business site for my personal email, so I expect a higher level of service. If you aren't a bit customer, their focus is on consumer, though, so you often are treated like a second class customer.
On a related subject, I really like their new openID, one-account management across services. Having multiple work and personal accounts, it makes it so much easier to have multiple live-ids at the same time.
Yeah, the new openID is excellent. It took them a while to roll it out but I'm glad they did.
