This is the second time in less than a year that a majority white jury in Florida has determined that fear is enough to justify the killing of unarmed black males. And this pseudo legalization bothers no one except blacks. Conservatives are in favor but worst of all, white liberals are indifferent. They speak on how unfortunate it is but save their most indignant outrage and, more importantly, their ACTION for things like Russian gay laws and the culling of giraffes in Danish zoos.

The culling of giraffes?!

A healthy juvenile giraffe was put down, autopsied, butchered and fed to the lions at a Danish zoo.  He was considered surplus to breeding stock and would threaten the gene pool if he did procreate, and so by the rigid rules of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria he had to go.

There was worldwide outrage.

I'm outraged! This is outrageous! What is wrong with people???

The Florida jury in the case of Michael Dunn found him guilty on four charges, including three for attempted second-degree murder, but they couldn't reach a verdict on the most significant charge -- first-degree murder in the death of Jordan Davis.

After the decisions in the "loud music" trial were read at about 7 p.m. Saturday in court, Judge Russell Healey -- who moments before had said that the jury had reached a verdict on all counts -- declared a mistrial on the murder count.

UPDATE, 6:30 p.m.: The jury asked this question of Judge Russell Healey: If we are unable to agree on one count, is the count mistried or is the entire case mistried?

Healey said just the count, not the entire case, is mistried.

Still sounds quite suspicious.

The Twitter feed agrees.
