Just curious...
having so much money that the price would not matter...otherwise I think the only content I pay for still is books and netflix.

$5 is probably close. I am not sure how the future of journalism looks.

Not really. The targeted advertising brings in next to nothing.
If that were more lucrative they'd tear down the paywall and scale the readership.
