He's rich. Buying influence is what rich people do.
I guess the main problem is that he's dishonest about it.
I think the bigger point is that it's not that surprising that a Presidential candidate can have really poor social media strategy.
Very few people actually understand social media, even now.
It's not like Twitter could offer Mr Romney a set of best practices, either.
They are notoriously devoid of guidelines.
No doubt. It's somewhat ironic the crap we in the Valley give to the "social media consultant" and yet even Presidential candidates would better better off hiring an average one.
I'm pretty sure Mitt Romney doesn't belong on Twitter.
If you look at the at-reply responses to most of his tweets, they're full of mocking and haterade.
Not a good platform for a candidate like Mitt.
