Next goal in the net neutrality struggle

It's looking increasingly likely that Wheeler's effort to hand over control of the Internet to his Big Telecom masters will be blocked next week. Then the real battle can begin: pushing the FCC to do what the federal court has TWICE told th...em they need to do -- to reclassify ISPs as common carriers under Title II of the Communications Act and then adopt the necessary net neutrality rules. To win that battle, I believe we need to convince President Obama to sack Wheeler and replace him with someone who will move ahead with reclassification. Please help me reach 1,000 signatures in time for the May 15th FCC meeting! Don, any ideas of someone who would be net neutrality favorable as head of the FCC?

Not really. The first person to pop into my head was Marvin Ammori, a First Amendment lawyer who has fought in the courts for net neutrality. The problem is he is much too sane to take the job. ;-)

I agree that that's a big problem: No sane person would want this job!
