"The report said Xie was very emotional. Xie said, "Most actresses showed half of their breasts in the movie's posters and trailers. Who really cares about the quality and future of the movies in China?" As Xie spoke, he became a little upset, "There are hundreds of millions of peasants who can't afford to see a movie once in ten years; why don't you (media) focus on that instead of the Curse of the Golden Flower? ""
Very relevant, since right now I'm nonstop praising The Grandmasters (2013), dir. by Wong Kar Wai >> One of the most excellent/poetic/beautiful films featuring martial arts ever made... look for the original Chinese version, which is tonally/structurally different from USA (both probably worth watching for those storytelling distinctions).
