Bacon-Bourbon Brownies with Pecans Recipe

Don't judge me! I shall cut them into very small pieces, I promise. Also I plan to replace the pecans with my homemade bourbon cherries.

So I am no brownie connoisseur but this recipe came out a little more dry than I expected. I think the crux of the matter is that there is no good definition of "bittersweet chocolate". Most of the ones you can buy for cooking are about 65% cacao, but I used an 85% one... which honestly for most people would qualify as "unsweetened chocolate". Everyone seemed to really enjoy the brownies though!
