From watching his episode of "A Football Life", I learned that Warren Moon was a professional cookie baker! He was finally persuaded to share his recipe. It should be noted that in the video it appeared that his cookies had been rolled between the palms into perfect globes, rather than dropped from a spoon -- like Warren Moon would let his cookies be messy? Also I had always assumed that baking soda needed an acid (usually buttermilk) for the leavening effect... but who am I to argue to with maybe the greatest football player ever in Washington State?

Holy chocolate chips, Batman!

While playing with the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL, Warren opened the first W. Moon’s Chocolate Chippery. He brought the successful chain with him to Houston before selling the franchise to Mrs. Fields in 1986.
