This looks like Ctenomorphodes chronus, a resident of southern Australia but not the longest Ctenomorph in the Australias! Their eggs mimic seeds that are attractive to ants, which collect them and take them to their burrows and offer the eggs protection and a nice environment until they hatch.
They don't just pretend to be plant twigs when they are big, but pretend to be plant seeds when they are eggs!
