Speaking of: "Free range" doesn't mean that hens are frolicking in the grass eating bugs. It can, but more often, free range hens live in a crowded barn that has a small amount of access to an outdoor yard. If truly pastured eggs are what you're looking for, look for a label that says "pastured," and do your homework on the farm; some chickens are more authentically pasture-raised than others.
