Immediately after, Chae says he had received at least 40 inquiries from investors and highly regarded angel investors. Within their first few meetings, PostRocket had raised their initial $150,000. One week later, they hit $300,000, and the week after that, $500,000. Gus Weber — the first person Chae says he met in the Boston tech community — even offered the team free office space at Dogpatch Labs in Palo Alto, and soon Polaris Ventures was tossing in a quarter million dollars. When all was said and done, PostRocket ended with $610,000 in seed funding, and they’ve continued to hustle ever since.

Chae did admit he “wanted to build a business that sells,” which is why he chose to work with the Facebook platform. “All the money is being spent on Facebook,” Chae says. And if PostRocket can successfully analyze a business’s Facebook page and provide recommendations on when and what to post, they’ll pay money for it. As Chae puts it, “We’re able to automatically provide them with a digital consultant.”

WTF is with comparing this guy to Zuckerberg?

There's nothing about Chae or his company that is anything like Zuckerberg,
