I read all these apps and they sound nice but it feels like they all take a lot of attention.

I've been reading a lot about expressing gratitude. Enough to think the Universe is trying to tell me something.  I try to do that, but sometimes I forget.  I think the app would instill a ritual--something to do daily.   So, the gratitude journal, the bill organizer and office exercise and stretch.  The  Chipolo--gps thingie looks fun too, but I probably won't get it.

Yeah, you have to be careful not to try to change too many things at once.

One change at a time is good.

A habit takes several months to become a habit.

I like the idea of starting by expressing gratitude everyday.

Ideally you don't need an app for that -- a gratitude journal is even more fun if you hand write it.
