Don't forget that legacy businesses might have great margins if you can pile value-added services on top. This example is a new twist on self-storage, where they catalog your stuff and DELIVER IT TO YOU on demand!!! A lot of bulky things -- holiday ornaments, ball gowns, winter coats, camping gear -- might be necessary seasonally but just taking up a lot of expensive real estate the rest of the time. That's really thinking outside the box :)
At first I was skeptical but now I see the idea that people living in expensive areas could rent cheap space far away to store their stuff.
The delivery on demand is what enables this new opportunity. It could just be a layer on top of Uber.
