Intelligent discussion of development NIMBY-ism in the US but especially in the Bay Area. I love this quote (and I say this as the occupier of a single family house with a yard): "This doesn't mean that no one has a right to live in a single-family home if they crave a yard and some privacy. It means that the person who lives in that home doesn't have the right to hold the world constant around it to preserve a parking spot."
Yeah, my takeaway from this article is that we can do anything we want.
We just have to want it.
