true. but isn't there a problem that anyone can register their dog as a service dog now?

How's that a problem? That people will abuse that policy?

Can and do. Last time I picked up my mom at the airport, she said a man with a little lapdog -- allegedly a service dog -- allowed it to pee all over the floor of the plane without concern.

Well that stinks. I guess they have to improve the policy to police abuse.
