The issue with the number of emotions in her brain isn't that there should be a whole army, but rather that they're missing just one: Surprise. Happiness, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are five of the six basic emotions - feelings whose expressions stay constant seemingly even between species of primate, or at least within all of humanity.
