The Sea of Dreams in Jackson Hole 4K
Janill Gilbert stashed this in Beautiful Landscapes
Beautiful views from above the clouds.
Temperature inversions in Jackson Hole are a weather phenomenon that all skiers and riders should know about. When these conditions occur, temperatures on the upper mountain can be 30-40 degrees warmer than at the valley floor. While it may not seem like a good day to get out from the chilly and foggy base area, ride a lift to the upper mountain and a breathtaking natural wonder reveals itself.
Local skiers/riders have come to call this view above the clouds the “Sea of Dreams.” Those who are in the know relish in the beauty of these days and it’s almost impossible to take a bad photograph.
