Beautiful Israeli Animation: Ma'agalim by Jane Bordeaux
Adam Rifkin stashed this in Animation!
Lyrics translation from Reddit:
Nights turn into days Days turn into years And among them I was going faster and circles Winds are blowing on me Blow on the back of my neck Everything seems too far too big I'm not moving forward It's the time that drifts away This is another passing train It further tightening rope (knot) Sunrises sinking fast As more seasons pass And I stay the same in this shortening time (x2) I'm not moving forward It's the time that drifts away This is another passing train It further tightening rope (knot)
i like the line: i stay the same in this shortening of time.
kinda sad but mostly not.
I know what you mean about that line. It's a little sad.
my grandmother is 90. i asked her if she feels the same inside as she always has. she didn't really understand the question, i guess, because she just complained about her aches and pains. ;)
but i feel the same in my heart as i always have. i imagine that we are who we are, forever.
Ah but who we are is ever-learning, ever seeking wisdom, ever being changed by our interactions.
And yes there are lots of aches and pains, the souvenirs of time passed.
