That robot seems to be dancing just fine.Â
But the article's point is a good one. Progress does not happen as quickly as we think it will.
TL;DR the author spent an illustrious career trying to program computers for creativity and doesn't believe the tech is even close to that point. (And the robot in the post GIF is using a pre-programmed dance routine, I'd imagine).
