Early Startup Time Wasters

Some great stuff here. I am particularly guilty of number 2 and 3.

This has some great advice, Matt. My favorites:

Don't do invite-only. That only worked for Pinterest.

Don't put ads on too early. It just mucks up the user experience.

Forget Amazon affiliate links. "I have yet to meet anyone who is making serious money on the side with Amazon links."

Don't do one-offs, limit the number of coffee meetings, and do not work from home. These are all self explanatory. :)

"Ignore real-time stats and just use Google Analytics to look at historical trends."

Also great advice, especially at the beginning.

Number three is so true: Already I cannot keep up with all of PandaWhale's users, and we're just getting started...
