I'd like to know why you say so. I found many of the questions and advice good for getting one's head straight if you have to evaluate someone.

Because before a startup is venture backed it cannot afford executives.

It can barely afford to pay the engineers who are building the product.

Executives come much later, after there is enough product-market fit to justify investing millions of dollars into the company.

Ben Horowitz's questions are much too heavyweight for seed-stage employees -- or even "A"-round employees.

Pinterest post-"C" round, maybe. But it took them several years to get there.
