Ugh. Mitt Romney continues saying things, publicly, despite the direct correlation between his continued insistence upon doing so and his dwindling likability. The presidential candidate told a crowd of what are presumably working-class voters in the swing state of Ohio: “Don’t be expecting a huge cut in taxes, because I’m also going to lower deductions and exemptions.” If you’re very quiet, you can still hear the cheers of “TAX-ES! TAX-ES!” echoing from the economically depressed Midwest.
