Slow to load in iPad and animated gigs can get annoying but they get bonus points for originality.

Yeah... the biggest pain on the web is loading speed. Defiantly a key characteristic of the web and it's instant access.
Something to smooth it over would be good though, even a loading indicator instead of slug slug slug slug...
