Hmmm, perhaps we'll lose the desire to walk if bots do it for us from birth. I wonder if more expanded research will show that babies tend to learn to walk later when given a robot to do it for them.
I'm seeing the post apocalyptic vision of Wall E with the "people in chairs" here....
