Self Driving Cars will hit California roads by 2015.
Brilliant!
Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Gov. Jerry Brown car-pooled to work Tuesday in a white Toyota Prius, and no one was driving. One day, in the not-so-distant future, you can join them.
Brown hitched a futuristic ride to Google's Mountain View headquarters to sign landmark legislation that will for the first time allow self-driving cars to hit California streets by 2015.
The governor had a look of utter amazement as he walked out of Google's "autonomous" Prius after a test-drive with Brin, who is so used to the robot car that he is tired of driving regular ones. How'd it go? "Great," the governor said. "Only way to go, guys."
I'm tired of driving regular cars!
I want a self-driving car!
With a wet bar, please!! :)
