Only point guard Stephen Curry and third-string center Andris Biedrins remain from the 2009-10 squad, and seven of the 15 players on the opening roster will be making their Warriors' debuts.
"We won't have to play trickery basketball," Lee said. "We have a great core this year, and the pieces of the puzzle are all there. We don't have to try to find ways to fool people. We won't have to find ways for me to guard centers and Steph Curry to guard power forwards. We can play a more standard brand of basketball."
With new general manager Bob Myers at the helm, the Warriors overhauled their roster this offseason. They drafted three players who are expected to contribute, including one, Harrison Barnes, who is expected to start.
They traded Dorell Wright for one of the league's top backup point guards, Jarrett Jack, and re-upped with top reserve Brandon Rush. And they outbid other teams for free agents Carl Landry and Kent Bazemore.
