Laughing Squid writes:
San Diego photographer and filmmaker Cy Kuckenbaker condensed six hours of San Diego International Airport air traffic departures into a short composite time-lapse film that runs 32 seconds long. This was made as a follow-up to hisprevious short film, where he displays five hours of air traffic “landings” in under 30 Seconds. At their site, PetaPixel shares additional information from Cy on how he set up this time-lapse film.
In doing these two videos I’ve learned that our airport sees around 300 arrivals/departures per day, which amazes me since we only have a single runway airport in a city that’s not really a big hub.
