106 Miles is a network of founders, engineers, and friends.
Our mission is to educate and empower entrepreneurial engineers.
We do this by learning from each other.
Silicon Valley 106 Miles now has 4100 members.
Silicon Valley SoCal now has 901 members.
Which means 106 Miles has more than 5000 members.
To put this in perspective, 106 Miles began in January 2005. Joe Kraus and Graham Spencer talked at our very first meeting, and I remember that Tantek Çelik and Matt Mullenweg attended along with a handful of other great entrepreneurs.
It took us six years to get to 1000 members, a milestone we reached in January 2011.
Six months after that, in June 2011, 106 Miles passed 2000 members.
Now, less than a year later, we are 5000 strong.
Thanks to all, and congrats to all!
