Is there a main takeaway from the video before I dive into all 37 minutes of it?

Well, main takeaway is that we will live in "Minority Report". Service industry will know everything about consumers to provide customized services and customized pricing.

So it's the good version of Minority Report where everything is personalized.

As opposed to the Minority Report where the police know everything you're thinking of doing. :)

Honestly, I do not remember what the Minority Report was about. I only remember the scene, where Tom Cruise comes to Gap and they recognize him and offer personalized services.Problem is, the line is too thin and the decision making process about how your data will be used will be harder to to figure out than the ways to collect and use the data.
