Yup, that's what it'll look like....

Nerves of steel, feet of glue.

How do you know it's photoshop?

He said it was photoshopped when he posted it on his facebook page!  Plus there's a global challenge on being the first person to ride a 100ft wave. When this happens, and MV is a great candidate to do so, it'll be huge news.

How is a wave length measured? From top of wave crest to surface of ocean?

There's a couple different ways.

Hawaiian style is the size of the back of the wave from the water surface to the top of the wave, not including the mist.

California style is the face of the wave, from the flat trough on the bottom to the tip of the peak at its highest point.

Shoulda-been-here-yesterday measurement is double the California measurement or fixed value of double-overhead.

Australian measurement is converting inches to feet, "you keep calling them  like that you'll run outta numbers" as nobody can ever verify any of them.

But the cold hard fact about measuring wave height in inches and feet is that, true waves aren't measured by cold hard mathematics, they are measured by fear.
