Gareth Bale Scored A Goal Using A Flying A Karate Kick
Geege Schuman stashed this in Badass
Gareth Bale of Tottenham Hotspur scored his 19th goal of the season with what can only be described as a flying karate kick.
A Wigan Athletic defenseman foolishly played the ball back to his keeper, who then tried to quickly clear it as Bale raced in. Unfortunately, the keeper's attempt found the bottom of Bale's boot...
Geege, this is amazing! I wish there were more soccer plays like this...
He's VERY intuitive.
I wonder if there's any more gifs of him playing like that.
It took Gareth Bale 24 appearances over three seasons to win a game in a Tottenham shirt. He's making up for that now. After his half-pitch run against Norwich came a top-corner blaster against West Brom and then he knocked in a free-kick and slotted another home against Newcastle. He also scored a brace against Lyon before his virtuoso performance at West Ham. No wonder his team-mate Scott Parker thinks Arsenal will be "deflated" ahead of the north London derby on Sunday (March 3?).
