My friend Kalliope Lee wrote a haunting novel about two young Korean-American girls seeking the truths about their pasts in early 1990's Seoul, when the "comfort women" -- actually child forced sex slaves during WWII -- were first coming forward.  Great topical interview in the LA Times here!
