According to Pinterest, Mackinac is the 8th most visited island in the world and the most visited island in the US.  I am doubtful.

I was looking for an article I read in Architectural Digest about Mackinac, probably a decade ago, by someone who summered there as a child.  Great article, couldn't find it.  I misattributed to Pinterest; should have been Michigan.org. 

I've been there many many times as a child... it's basically a theme park you can theoretically live in.

and just to clarify for all of you who might not know... it's pronounced Mack-in-aw :-)

Mackinac Island is a very nice place to visit. I remember going there as a child with my family. That's cool about Somewhere in Time...I love that movie! Especially the Chinese version.

Is the Chinese version different?

Yes, it's got subtitles (like the one in Geege's previous post.) =-)
