A new program in San Francisco will match qualifying shelter dogs with panhandlers as part of an experimental program to discourage panhandlers from asking for money on the streets and keep the animals from being euthanized.
I like this program, and hope it succeeds.
Interesting to me is that it's paid for by Getty money.
