What... What is it?

It's just a dam...in Thailand, but a beautiful one!

Flow – Rayong, Thailand – Anan Charoenkal I must say Dams are pretty photogenic. Remember this one CLICK HERE?  It took me a while to realize what I was looking at when I first saw this image.  That usually is a sign that I am going to love it once I do figure it out.  It reminds me of Moses starting to part the Red Sea or at least how Hollywood portrays it.  If you like Thailand then you will love Anan’s portfolios below www.tonnaja.com  www.flickr.com/photos/tonnaja Read his quick story below then please take a look. Enter Anan: In the rainy season, the Dam is used to irrigate crops. I used the wide angle lens (Nikon 16-35 F4) for my D700. The perspective of the wide angle lens makes the image look more elegant and powerful. I used a shutter speed of 30 sec. to get the silky appearance of the water.  The fishermen in the frame added a point of interest. Many shots were needed because the fishermen kept moving and were blurry in the image. This one came out just right. I decide to crop 1:1 ratio. This resulted in a classic look.

I'm sure mine will entail an overwhelming sense of deja vu.

Accidentally deleted that I get that error message in my head all the time and that I imagine my (eventual) death will be an affirmative response to "close all tabs?"
