How Much Does It Cost to Be Batman? | Visual.ly
Waylan Choy stashed this in Infographics!
Stashed in: Batman!, Infographics!
I find interesting the Mashable x Samsung at the bottom
Yeah, what's up with that?
The original infographic was published by a Mashable account to Visual.ly, meaning they produced it and intended to share it in this community (also offsetting storage, but that's moot for such data). Therefore, I bet it's a promotional arrangement btw Mashable and Samsung for Mashable to create (OR FACILITATE THE CREATION OF) visual assets and also distribute among social media channels. If you check their account, I bet there's a number of these. In fact, with Visual.ly offering itself as an Agency/Service Provider of sorts, it's possible Mashable itself did not create this in-house.You know how SEO is. Infographics (and concurrent Pop Culture infographics) have joined Numbered Lists and How-to's as high traffic items now, post-Pinning and micro-blogging.
Infographics are BETTER than listicles and how-to's for re-pinning and re-blogging and tweeting.
well, right, since the share methods are visual by nature. i wonder how re-pin/blog stats have affected results differently from previous SEO/pagerank world. i wonder how the new Hummingbird algorithm takes this into account, if at all.
