I love it that a private citizen has taken it up on themselves to get out there and mow the lawn of the Lincoln Memorial. The only thing that would have been better would be if it were a member of Congress or the Senate doing it.

Is anyone aware of any "menial work" at all that Congress or the Senate has done since the government has shut down?

Apparently they've been drinking a lot. That's menial work for their livers.
