Up until this season it never occurred to me to think of what Daryl did before the outbreak.
In season 4 episode 1, Carol calls Daryl Dixon 'Pookie,' and the guy who was trying to guess what Daryl did pre-apocalypse guessed that he was a detective.
Hence Pookie Dixon: Zombie Detective.
Like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
