Unpopular opinion time: Internet Explorer as changed a lot since you last used it. It's not nearly as bad as you remember. Microsoft just does an awful job advertising this, so their product is stuck with its deservedly bad reputation from 5 years ago:
IE 6: fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu
IE 7: bro, do you even JavaScript?
IE 8: alright... I can use this.
IE 9: wow. I don't need chrome installed.
IE 10: first time I'm 100% OK using IE only. Find myself wondering if it's faster than chrome. I know it's not, but it's fast enough not to care.
